Bought our 5th wheel camper in March 2017, new, from Camping World Spartanburg, SC. In June the faucet at the kitchen sink started to leak. On our way back home from our trip To Vermont our fender skirt split horizontally while driving down the road. After we got home I went to Camping world to see about buying a washer to fix the faucet. I was told that they would just replace the whole faucet under warranty, I also explained what happened to the fender skirt and they said that would be re placed too, all I had to do was send then photos of the faucet and fender skirt. I did. I didn't get a response right away so I emailed them and they replied that they had received the photos and would order the parts. This was about July 7th. I need the camper in August so I went to Lowe's and bought a faucet and installed it. I still hadn't heard back from them in Oct so I sent an email for an update, no response. I sent another in Nov and got a call. I was told I needed to bring the camper in even though they had previously said I didn't need to. I told them I had already replaced the faucet because I couldn't wait for them, but that I still need the fender skirt. I was told that if the damage hadn't been noted on the initial inspection, it wasn't covered, (not what they had told me to my face in July). They also said that the manufacturer covered the warranty and that I need to talk to them. So from July trough November it was all lies and misinformation. Another Forest River dealer order and received my fender skirt in 2 weeks. Karolina Koaches now has my business. Camping World will sell you a camper and add on accessories but forget warranty service, just lies there.

Camping World - Poor customer service in all departmetns

I have tried to purchase parts from the Saukville Camping world a few times just because of the convienint location. When I try toi get help the standard answer I got was we don't carry anything for older RV's. I am taling about roof vents, indicator lenses, couplings for waste lines. These are not unusal items and I think they are all still used on RV's today. Last night I tried one more time and left work early . 4 associates greated me at the front door. I went to look for a fitting for my waste hose. After a few miniutes I was asked to leave becasue the store was closed. I looked at my watch and it was exactly 5 pm. I told them the front door says they are open until 6pm. I got a snoty responce there is a piece af paper taped to the door that says 5pm. OK, can I purchase these parts and the answer was no, I already closed the register you have to leave now.

I KNOW SAUKVILLE CAMPING WORLD .THANK GOD YOU GOT OUT THE DOOR I DID NOT GET OUT ON TIME .I MADE A PURCHASE OF A USED CLASS C I DID NOT NEED TO BRING MY OWN VASELINE ,THEY HAD PLENTY ON HAND. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY DO NOT BUY A RV OR PARTS AT CAMPING WORLD IF YOU DO ITS YOUR PROBLEM!!!!

Camping World - They suck in every detail accept selling you something

No return calls from service. They LIE. Work not completed after being told "COME ON DOWN PICK IT UPPPPP IS ALL DONEEEEE You cannot trust a word out of their mouth. Customer servic is a complete joke. If you had a company that you owned you would certainly run it more professionally then this. No one resolves anything for you. If they know your number when you call they will put you on voice mail so as not to return your call, I proved this to my wife who has not used her phone. When I called 3 straight times it went to voice mail she had speed dial and called after me and they took the call.

Lied about the purchase price of a new 2017, the price was 15,000. higher when the papers finally came in the mail. They wouldn't return phone calls. After going back to talk with the manager he showed us the deceptive way they hid the amount and got our signature. We talked to him about the bad reviews, he said they sell over 800 per year, so he can handle a little bad press. As the months went by there were recalls and issues that we had appointments to have repaired. Both times we had to rent a hotel plus the cost of fuel to take it in. We just picked it up after leaving it with them for 6 days, knowing our exact time of return and that we had to have it done to live in. Nothing was touched. Nothing was fixed. They didn't even fill the propane tank that we specifically stated when we delivered it, that our refrigerator and freezer are both full of food. They charged us for the LP but after we got back to our camping site, found that the tank was empty and our food was lost. The ice cream was melted and leaked over everything. We called the manager then called Camping World corporate. Still waiting for a response. I would like to stand in their doorway and tell anyone who comes in, to run!!

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! ! I am single and my daughter and I decided to purchase a camp trailer so we could get away from the Arizona heat in the summer. We had looked at every camp trailer possible and decided to purchase a new Northland from Camping World in Oct 2016. First time we took it out, March 2017, we found a water leak under the shower. Took it in to Camping world and thought it had been fixed. Second time I took it out, July 2017, Arizona Monsoon Season, 10 days in the mountains, water pored in through the sky light warping my bathroom counter top. The Sensors for the Black, Grey and Fresh water was not working correctly, the water pump wouldn’t shut off and the refrigerator would not light unless the stove was lit. I took it to camping world to have the repairs done and got the run around. They wouldn’t touch the sensors unless I paid them to clean out the tanks. The refrigerator, I was told, had debris that looked like leaves in it and they said they wouldn’t fix it. Please tell me this…..I have owned this trailer for 9 months, it sits in a back yard nowhere near any trees or bushes. How in the H___ is there going to be debris in the refrigerator unless it was there when I bought it?????? The pump wouldn’t shut off because there was still a leak behind the shower poring out under the trailer. This they fixed without an issue. And now for the biggest problem……The Sky Light in the bathroom is cracked! While camping for 10 days in the White Mountains we had a huge monsoon go through. My daughter and I are stuck in the down pore and I noticed that water was poring in through the sky light. If you live in AZ you know we don’t get a lot of rain but when we do it pores! The water coming in warped the counter top in the bathroom. I had two people In the Service department state there was NO IMPACT to the Sky light. Warranty refused to fix it. It was submitted to them again and they again refused to fix it! Camping world service department kept my trailer for over 3 months and it was returned to me right after the SO CALLED WARRANTY ran out. I now have the task of crawling on top of my camp trailer and replacing the sky light myself. I still have a warped counter top! After a long argument Camping World dropped my tanks, without me paying for it, and found that the sensor was defective and replaced it. I called in for an update after they had my trailer and couldn’t get anyone to call me back. My Tech, Mike, was AWFUL!!! I found out later he was a manager. I called again at 2 months and couldn’t get him to call me back. I finally get a call back at 2 ½ months telling me they aren’t going to fix the sky light but would submit again. 3 month mark I called every day for a wk just asking for an update. No call back. When I did get a call it was to tell me to come get my trailer because they were not going to fix anything else. I do not recommend Camping world to anyone. I will make sure everyone I know hears how they handle customers. I no longer shop at Camping World online or otherwise. I will go out of my way to shop elsewhere.

Had camping world RV of panama city rip us off

Amongst other things charged us $30 for shipping for a fuel filter for a generator - a very small part. When we asked to see the shipping receipt they, of course, dropped it. Charged us a service charge for an hour of diagnosis on a problem that I found out on youtube takes one minute to diagnose. They also wanted to charge us $314.00 for the part to fix our stairs, when the actual part you need, not the whole kit, is about %60.00. Generator - it does run now, got conflicting stories on what they really did to fix it. Manager was a gruff *** who stunk of cigarettes. Oh, and like a lot of rip off repair places, there is also a $46.85 "shop supplies". They also wanted to charge us more to diagnose a problem - we called a truck repair company and got a much much better deal.

Camping World - Once you buy it, there’s no customer service!

Purchased a 2018 Mallard M-28. Didn’t have keys for the storage compartments. Three weeks later and 2 sets of keys ( wrong keys) still can’t lock the storage compartments. They are a joke. Once they get your money, they don’t want to help you. Beware!!!

This places steals from their customers and gets away with it!! We took our camper in for warranty work. They didn't fix everything they said they were going to fix, and on top of that, our power cord was missing when we got our camper back. According to the service manager, they have their own power cords when they do repairs so they would have no need to steal ours! But when we asked if they had ours, we were told that there was not one in the shop that fit our camper! If that is true, how did they repair our camper in the first place if they didn't use ours!?? Shady work, horrible customer service, rude employees, and have no respect for their clients!! Now we are out God knows how much for a new power cord because of their dishonesty! I would NOT recommend using them for ANYTHING!!

Camping World - *** POOR WORK

had a 1100 am appointment wed nov 14 th for a mud flap and nys inspection on a new 2017 allegro 36 la. got there at 10:20 am --at 2;30 pm the girls at the service desk said that the garage was just finishing the paperwork. at 3;30 I checked again, girls said computed wasn't working. I cashed out at 4:00 pm , went out to get in RV and the reflectors on the mud flap were almost falling off. I had my tools with me and I laid on the blacktop and took them both off. *** poor work --girls at service desk do not give you correct information. NO MORE--DONE! with syracuse camping world. Camping World - No more purchases

I purchased a tv 2 yrs ago , the 1st trip out the base broke called C World, they told me i have to call manufacturer, i did, they told me they would send me new base for $40, great warranty, i just purchased a flojet water pump, it failed after pumping 1 gallon of anti-freeze, called C World was on hold for extended amount of time and was told being pump was installed i had to call manufacturer, because i didn't buy the extended warranty from them , so buyer beware unless you play there little warranty game you have to deal with the manufacturer. I will just buy from Amazon
