Camping World - Bad customer service from website

Another pissed off customer that they even had be yelling at them on the phone. Geesh order something website states in stock (should receive within 5-7 days) Order confirmed. Said another email will come once shipped along with tracking number never got email called a week later and guess what. Oops don’t know why it hasn’t been processed yet. (Customer service says let me send them an email). It’s in Dallas tx (warehouse) I am 30 minutes from Dallas. Tell them I want my order by Monday or just cancel. Well today is Monday no deliver call back- oops oh went email to shipping:processing and they will send me an email with tracking when it’s shipped. *** cancel they order. I am being told can’t cancel due to being in the shipping. I say *** Bad service all the way round (yea I was yelling (heck keep lying to me and I will yell).!!!! Never again will I use them!!!

In January 2018 we went to CW Vacaville, CA look at toyhaulers for my mother in law to live in in our side yard because she could no longer afford to be on her own. We didn't expect to find exactly what we needed but we did. So despite the fact our yard was not ready for it yet we purchased it and CW agreed to store it for us till the end of February 2018 at no cost to us, which was so amazing and helpful. Overall we had a wonderful purchase experience. However, after a couple days the horrible smell when we turned the heater on hadn't gone away, there was no heat getting to the bedroom through the heater vent, and then only a week and a half we had a big rain storm and the roof leaked. So we called to make an appointment for it to be fixed. With the help of our sales agent we were told it would be a one week repair (due to the urgency of the fact it was so new and a live in unit, not a camping unit) and if it would have to take longer we would be notified. The day before it was due to be done I called to try to get status as we had heard nothing, only to discover nothing had actually been fixed on it yet. The roof leak was finally fixed 3 days after the entire repair was supposed to be complete, but the heater smell had not been addressed and while the cause of no heat the bedroom was known (a torn heater hose from the furnace inside the trailer) the additional pictures the manufacturer was asking for had not been sent yet. The next day our service adviser finally recreated the smell from the furnace but could not say what the cause was as he was not a tech. Four days later (now 8 days after the promise date) still nothing had been addressed with regards to the cause of the smell and the additional pictures for the heater repair had still not been taken for the manufacturer, essentially it sat for a whole week with nothing being done on it. It wasn't until a week and a half after the promise date that the additional pictures were taken and sent to the manufacturer, but we didn't find out about that for yet another week (because trying to get anyone in service to answer the phone or call you back at this CW is almost impossible). It was a Friday when we finally heard the manufacturer had not responded to the pics for a whole week so when I tried to contact the manufacturer and got no call back I had to wait till Monday (today, 4/2/18) to try again (still had to leave another vm). We are now up to today (4/2/18) and I am still waiting to hear from someone regarding our repairs. It has now been almost a month since we dropped it off for repairs, and 20 days after their promise date. If this is how they treat urgent repairs on live in units purchased from them that came back less than 2 weeks after picking it up, I would really hate to see how long their non-urgent repairs take. Overall, the lack of communication and lack of even getting the pictures to the manufacturer to attempt to shorten the repair time make this possibly the worst service experience I have had yet. At this point in time I would recommend you buy carefully when you purchase your trailer (at least in this area), I don't know if the small privately owned repair places can do warranty work but the larger places that sell trailers and do repairs will often only take those they have sold (or, in the case of CW, if you didn't buy from them you are months out to even get an appointment then who knows how long till it's back). So how long repairs take on your trailer may be a factor in where you decide to purchase.

Camping World - Bull ***

I had quite an eye opening experience this morning...placed an order out of the catalogue and was told i could not use my 25.00 certificate..i have to mail it in...all because we have no store within a few hours of us...bull *** if you ask me...why would i call if i could have gone to one of your stores!! We have been members for years but maybe we shold question that...so now i mail in the cert. and hopefufly they credit my visa??? We will see....VERY DISSAPOINTING...if you ask me this is NOT customer service...i hope everyone takes note of this before placing an order.....very very very bad customer service!

Camping World - Mad can't even describe how I feel

After them having my camper for weeks and not fixing it, while under warrenty. With one excuse after another. My husband went and picked it up, and brought it home. To find out they took the microwave out of it. Now fighting tooth and nail over that. I will never ever by from them again, and would never recommend anyone to go there.

Camping World in Meridian, Idaho - Amazing

My husband and I just purchased our first fifth wheel at Camping World in Meridian Idaho and the experience was amazing. We found the perfect used fifth wheel for our family needs and they worked their butts off to make it happen for us. We knew what we wanted and how much we were willing to pay for it and their finance department worked their magic to make it happen. We ended up spending a couple hours there one day to get the paperwork worked out and had to return the following day for the finalization of everything, both days we had our large German Shepard with us and they still made us feel very welcome. The second day I had my 3 month old with us as well and the staff were wonderful ensuring that we had everything we needed and were comfortable. Our experience was wonderful from start to finish and we will definitely do business with them in the future!

We purchased a brand new camper at the Syracuse winter RV show. We bought a $26K new camper and when we bought we were promised "MEGA camping package" but when we paid and picked up the camper we got nothing we were promised.There was a flyer showing all of the items but they subbed everything for different stuff. It was Bait and switch. General manager was arguing with us over a few hundred dollars worth of merchandise we were promised.. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE..we were told the package depended on item availabilty. Well they had almost everything from the flyer in the store but put different items of lesser value in the camper. Buyer beware of these promotional packages!

I totally agree with youThe Fort Myers store in its entirety is horrible. There is NO customer service in ANY department.I unfortunately made the mistake and am sorry still today as I wait on warrantee issues!Management If you’re out there reading this and care at all you need to make this right!!Call me

Didn't fix anything under warranty. These guys are terrible and liars. Don't go there. Promise you the world but if you don't spend money, all promises are empty...... They need to learn customer service.... Can the owner offer these people some classes on how to treat people?

I dropped off my 2012 Thor Challenger 37DT on 13 March to Camping world in Gulf Breeze Florida. On 30 Mar at 1pm I get a call that my motorhome was finally looked at. I have an extended warranty so they have call and see what is covered but the answer will not come back till Tuesday. It was minor repairs so I told them to order the parts that I pay for the repairs. It took camping world 18 days to finally look at the motorhome!! I called several times during the 18 days and was told each time our motorhome is next to be looked at. It finally got looked at because I went into camping world and let them know this is unacceptable. Absolutely terrible service department!!
