Camping World in Meridian, Idaho - Amazing

My husband and I just purchased our first fifth wheel at Camping World in Meridian Idaho and the experience was amazing. We found the perfect used fifth wheel for our family needs and they worked their butts off to make it happen for us. We knew what we wanted and how much we were willing to pay for it and their finance department worked their magic to make it happen. We ended up spending a couple hours there one day to get the paperwork worked out and had to return the following day for the finalization of everything, both days we had our large German Shepard with us and they still made us feel very welcome. The second day I had my 3 month old with us as well and the staff were wonderful ensuring that we had everything we needed and were comfortable. Our experience was wonderful from start to finish and we will definitely do business with them in the future!

We purchased a brand new camper at the Syracuse winter RV show. We bought a $26K new camper and when we bought we were promised "MEGA camping package" but when we paid and picked up the camper we got nothing we were promised.There was a flyer showing all of the items but they subbed everything for different stuff. It was Bait and switch. General manager was arguing with us over a few hundred dollars worth of merchandise we were promised.. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE..we were told the package depended on item availabilty. Well they had almost everything from the flyer in the store but put different items of lesser value in the camper. Buyer beware of these promotional packages!

I totally agree with youThe Fort Myers store in its entirety is horrible. There is NO customer service in ANY department.I unfortunately made the mistake and am sorry still today as I wait on warrantee issues!Management If you’re out there reading this and care at all you need to make this right!!Call me

Didn't fix anything under warranty. These guys are terrible and liars. Don't go there. Promise you the world but if you don't spend money, all promises are empty...... They need to learn customer service.... Can the owner offer these people some classes on how to treat people?

I dropped off my 2012 Thor Challenger 37DT on 13 March to Camping world in Gulf Breeze Florida. On 30 Mar at 1pm I get a call that my motorhome was finally looked at. I have an extended warranty so they have call and see what is covered but the answer will not come back till Tuesday. It was minor repairs so I told them to order the parts that I pay for the repairs. It took camping world 18 days to finally look at the motorhome!! I called several times during the 18 days and was told each time our motorhome is next to be looked at. It finally got looked at because I went into camping world and let them know this is unacceptable. Absolutely terrible service department!!

Camping World - BAD SERVICE

I sent a complaint March 29 about service at your North Little Rock branch. Today I get a call that my part for awning is in. Funny how fast someone found it after the complaint. I go pick up the part today and guess what it is the wrong part. I questioned the guy that checked me out and he said he didn’t know anything about the part. The part I got came in a bag that was opened. I only had 1 side of part. I am missing the back and screws that go with it. I saw signs all over that branch about customer care and service. Peactice don’t preach. My name and number is on file. At this point I am tired of dealing with people that don’t care about their job. People walking around on their cell phones. People without knowledge. When you walk into a service department and 6 people are standing there you think 1 person would ask to help. NO a guy named Brandon comes out of the back and ask to help. I am beside myself at the terrible experience I had at Camping World North Little Rock. I expect a Manager to call me and explain why he manages a terrible operation. Brian Swenson 501-317-8915

Camping World in Concord, North Carolina - Worst experience we have ever had

We purchased our camper at the end of April 2017. let me add that We bought an additional warranty at purchase. Camping world told us to camp in the camper once or twice and bring it back to fix the things hat we find are wrong. Before we left the lot we talked t someone about bubbles in the wallpaper above the bed. We were told it was just a bad spot in the wall paper and would be taken care of when we brought it back in. On Memorial weekend we camped for the first time for 2 days. We noticed while we are camping that everywhere someone sat the color rubbed off of our leather furniture. Where the back sat, butt, legs..everywhere was rubbing off. We weren't terribly alarmed...it as just 30 days old ad we had bought an additional warranty that was pushed really hard while we were signing the papers for our camper. We called camping world when we returned from camping. We took the camper in...... THIS IS WHERE TE NIGHTMARE BEGINS.... We were told that warranty denied the claim because the furniture in our brand new 2017 camper was 2015 furniture and was no longer warranty (we actually have the paper that states this) We spent a lot of time going around about this. We were told everything would be complete so we would ot iss our july 4th vacation. Up until the day we were to pick it up..we believed them. We did not get our camper back before our scheduled vacatin and lost alot of money. Eventually, Concord had someone come out and paint our furniture. All of it. Chairs, couch, dinette suit cushions. We were very aprehensive but were told it would look just like new and there was not another option. After a few month in service we picked up our camper. We were disgusted with the results. The furniture looked tie dyed. Even the camping world employees were apologizing. We were told to take our camper camping and to bring it back and they would replace the furniture. we camped. Took the camper back to service. They told us they fixed the holed in the wall paper in the bedroom an they were having the furniture Repainted for a SECOND time and it would look better that new. We also had a very small very minor list of other things they were going to fix. They had our camper for months and had still not fixed anything on the list. We picked up pur camper. We never opened it up to look at how the furniture looked from being painted for the send time. We drove straight to camping world in Marion NC. When we opened up the camper with Marion to see the furniture...everyone immediately said oh wow. IT LOOKED EVEN WORSE THAT BEFORE. The employees were apologizing. I was crying. While we were there we were told about why the panels in the bedroom had to be changed. apparently our BRaND NEW camper had *** in the top and those bubbles in the wall paper was in fact WATER DAMAGE. Concord never told us this. It sat on their lot and collected water for over a year before we purchased it. I had scuffs on my floor from the furniture being moved to paint, the couch will not open correctly, paint on my ceiling and a blind. They ripped the recliner when they were moving the furniture to be painted.....and my furniture los Tye Dyed. We were told by Marion that they would work on getting the furniture replaced. Marion could not even find in file that the paper where Concord had said the furniture in our BRAND NEW camper was 2 years old. Concord had taken that out,,,LUCKILY I keep EVERYTHING and makes lots of notes. They ow have a copy of the paper. Keystone has offered to pay 800 toward the furniture...the service manager at CONCORD (David Teague) REFUSES...he wants to paint our furniture for a 3rd time. !!! There are many other problems withthis camper but these are the main ones. We are only asking or what we paid for. A NEW Camper. We purchase a camper with water damage and painted furniture. Our camper has now been damaged in the process of getting it repaired. This is our 9th camper. The first one from Camping World.This is not ok. This is a reputable company. This is why we bought from them. How does this happen. It is not right. When the employees that work there are saying this looks horrible and apologizing...then something is wrong. This was suppose to be a great 25th anniversary gift. It has become a nighmare.

Camping world, a reputable company?Among us in the business they are a "bad reputation company". It is something you can count on, that they will do the WRONG thing, count on it.

Mr. Lemonis posted on Facebook that Trump supporters are not welcome at Camping World stores. This company has no respect for certain customers...ie, supporters of the President of the United States. Make Lemonis dream come true. Remember that Sam’s Club is associated with Camping World. It only stands to reason that this CEO does not want him in their club. I have spent a lot of money online and in their Camping World stores all over the USA. For this man to have the high mindedness to insult the president of the United States and people who support our country’s leader is not only unpatriotic but ungrateful to the people who have helped make Camping World the success that it is (maybe was).

The political view of the ceo is appling. I will never purchase another product from his company.

His view is basically , if you like president Trump you can shop elsewhere. Thank god we live in a free country

Specific employees lack basic customer service skills. They will sell you an Rv and when their are issues they just blow you off do not return phone calls. Management does not care. However Brandon in service department cares and goes out of his way to resolve issues with the limited assistance provided by management

Camping World - Buyers beware of clearance items

On March 26, 2018, I purchased a REI Portable Foldable Table and was told at checkout that it was a clearance item so I would be unable to return. It was new and in factory box and wrapping. Boy, was I in for a surprise!! One of the pieces is broken in half. And another part is dangling. My husband said it appears to have been sliced evenly, hanging on by a thread. This is dangerous, and I reached out to Camping World as all I want is a table that I can take camping. I also bought a grill that was on clearance and now I’m scared to open it. I have sent a message via emai, but have not even been given the courtesy of a response. I also tried to call the store manager and was place on hold for twelve minutes and finally gave up.
