Camping World - Worst customer service ever

Purchased 4 items and used there merchandise certifacate, go to return two small items worth $5.88 plus 36 cents tax charged. Paid 4.72 only due to certificate value applied. Only wanted what they charged me, but they apply the cash paid across the 4 items. Only get a 95 cent refund. What a rip off the way they fo math. The store manager didn't even want to hear my viewpoint, no customer service, just wanted to know what else I wanted to buy that day, oh then maybe he would have worked something out to make me whole and happy. The manager is Aaron Aragon which really should be Aaron Arragont since that is his attitude. Stay away from this store.

I had a similar experience in Cocoa Florida. I purchased a travel trailer cover on Labor Day weekend.

I used a coupon from them and a coupon from Good Sam. Just one week later, the same cover was discounted by another $90.00. In attempting to have it adjusted, the store manager, Dan was not willing to have my purchase adjusted using my coupons.

He instead insisted that the only way he would apply the coupons is if i were to purchase a protection plan for the cover. Not happy with response!!!

Camping World - Roadside Assistance

We called for Roadside Assistance in the suburbs outside of Boston. We told their dispatcher that we have a 40 foot Motorhome with a Flat Tire on the Rear Inside Tire. They responded by sending out a small Panel Truck with nothing more than a 1 1/2 ton car jack. When CWH's contractor pulled up I asked him is he had a hydrolic jack that could lift up my motorhome. He said no. I asked him how he intended to get the rear tire off without lifting the motorhome. He said can we use your coaches jacks. I said no. I do not want to take the chance of you damaging my coach by improper leveling using my hydrolics. I then asked how he intended to get my spare tire off of the coach from its attachment under the coach. He said he was told I would have the tools. I told him I did not have the tools. When we called it was 2PM after 13 calls back to CWH Roadside Assistance, and their send 3 other tech. and trucks, we finally got the tire changed at 10 pm that evening. This was the 2nd horrible experience I had with CWH Roadside Assistance. I will no longer use their Roadside Assistance.

DO NOT buy an RV from Camping World of Kingston NY..Every single encounter is pure arrogance, disrespect & incompetence. The sales people, service & customer service worst I have ever seen....Managers refusing to pick up phones or return calls, service people tell you they are with customers and never call back...5 weeks of aggravation..they got my blood pressure to 160 & my sugar to 243 with a sledge hammer pounding head ache....Brand new $200,000 RV bought in 01/18 now with 4,000 miles.... 5 weeks waiting for simple add-ons to be finished. 5 weeks still NOT DONE...Managers refuse to come to phone !!!! DO NOT BUY FROM... Camping World

Camping World in Berkley, Massachusetts - Horrible repair service

My 2017 Coleman camper sustained storm damage from one of the many nor’easters we had this past winter. The damage was to the roof and canopy.After getting a settlement from my insurance company, I made arrangements with Camping World of Berkley ma to have it repaired I dropped it off on January 29 2018 as per their request. It is now approaching Memorial Day and is still not fully repaired. That’s four months in the shop. The service desk person said he has been on the job there about a month. He says he inherited a *** show in regards to repair orders. They took on more repair orders than they can handle. I feel helpless in this situation, do I contact a lawyer? Do I contact the state attorney general? Count me in if there are any class action law suits.

As of 6-17-18 company still refuses to honor 1 year parts and labor.. suspension failed, equalizers damaged, axel shifted causing breaks to be damaged ..

still no resolution with camping world. Corporate would not confirm or deny that they did or did not have a 1 year parts and labor warranty on repairs...

Still waiting. Probably will be out the $2,500 ....

In January 2018 we broke 2 leaf springs on our Grand Design RV 5th wheel Solitude. This Camping World was only 8 miles away and over 2 days fixed us and got us on the road. We thought they saved us. Little did we know they used inferior parts and improper bolts that barely held on the springs to the axels. 4 months latter the springs failed, not only failed but damaged the equalizers on the rig, causing the axel to shift and damaging the brakes. When I called about the 1 years parts and labor warranty I was told about to get re-embursed for the 2,500 dollar expenses the Service Manager Kevin Hester said that they do not give warranty's on repairs paid for by insurance companies. Called the Insurance company Protecitive Asset Protection Platinum coverage Xtraride service contract program they only paid for 1/2 of the cost of 2 springs not replaced by Camping World. I would strongly advise you to avoid this Camping world for their inferior repairs. On the U bolts holding the axels on, the nuts were 'barely' screwed on. I don't fault the service writers who only did their job, but Camping World corporate does not give a crap either. Calling them they acted concerned but told me not to write back until the several month long process of asking for a policy payment review was completed even thought they said that it did not sound proper for them saying no warranty on repairs.

Camping World of Robertsdale Al. has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They will not respond to numerous phone calls, will not tell me the status of my repair. Corporate is no better, wish I had never heard of them.

Camping World - Screwed when we traded a new camper for a used one.

We bought a new camper from camping. World and it was a piece of junk. We complained to the factory gut no results. So we went back to camping world to trade for something else. Well another nightmare. We found one that we were ok with. They serviced it. We went to pick it up and it was the wrong camper. By this time I was exhausted. So we took it and lost alit of money in the process. Now just not enjoying the camping near as much. No other dealers carry what we want. We enjoy the 5th wheel campers and would prefer a front bath. Not liking the little closet bathrooms.

Camping World in Greenwood, Indiana - Horrible customer service!

I purchased a new rv from camping world in Greenwood Indiana on May 10 2018 which was one week ago today. As soon as I arrived home with my new camper I very quickly found many issues. Water leaks, (inside and out) flooring coming up, trim misssing in spots around cabinets and I had drug my wiring between my tailights most of the way home because it was never attached properly. I decided to call the general manager and state my issues and that has been 6 days ago. My wife and I have called, left voicemails, and emails and still nothing. This is the worst service and dealership I have ever been involved with. I would strongly suggest if your in the market for a new camper or used camper to go anywhere but camping world in Greenwood Indiana. Very disappointed! Don't make the same mistake we did.

Don’t buy here worst workmanship ever. Bought 2019 had 11 days sent back for warranty work been 90 day still don’t have unit.

Was a lemon The service dept keep say they are waiting on parts. ???? If this is a 2019 I haven’t figured out why you can get parts.

They are making units daily so what’s problem. No answer.

After speaking with andy friday brought my camper in for a new air conditioning unit monday morning. As advised by andy..i explained that i am coming from atlanta so i would have to wait on it. Andy said no problem it is a 1-2 hour job...i got there at 10am and left at 430pm Worst customer service ever...i got bounced around between 3 gentlemen working at the service dept. No one knew what they were doing..no one knew the price of the a/c unit..the 3 kept going back and forth between themselves to come up with a price....i told Don when he finally wrote up my job that the technican cannot walk on the roof because it is an Airstream..when i got it back there were footprints all over the roof.

Camping World in Manassas, Virginia - Poor Customer Services

My rating drops to a 1 star due to the poorest customer service ever!!! After the purchase of this motor home $96,000, we lost 3 refrigerators full of food. After the all three camping trips to different locations, using gas and electric the beautiful $2000 refrigerator failed. We brought the motor home back to Camping World for repair each time and each time being told it was fixed. The last time being told the part - the cooling unit was completely replaced. They lied. We brought the unit to a different RV repair that contacted the warranty dept of the unit and found that nothing was ever replaced through them. I will never bring my unit to them for repair again. You lost all my trust!! I lost confidence in any work that may be completed by this store. This was previously a 5 star as the sales team was great. Everything after we purchased (Oct 2017) was terrible. No call backs, no updates, movement at a snails pace, and lies. :(
