They will not contact me because they also committed insurance fraud. That's a completely different story! Bottom line I try to tell as many people as possible to let them know to stay away from camping world......

They tried to fix a factory defect toilet. They gave it back to me without even hooking up the water line to the toilet so I know they didn't check there work....and it is still broken! Idiots! I show as many people as possible!

Camping World - Hidden Flaw in Camper Making it Useless

Purchased a 2013 Coachman Clipper pop up camper from the Akron, Ohio Camping World last January. When my wife an I looked at it, it was very cold out (10 degrees). Even though they brought it inside to look at, everything was frozen. We bought it at their asking price and was planning a summer of travel. When they weather finally broke, we opened up the camper and my feet sank into the floor. The wood in the floor was water logged and rotting. Mind you, there was absolutely no evidence of the roof or sides of the camper leaking water, nor any leaks in the plumbing. The water was there before we bought it (Frozen due to the cold). Pulling up some vinyl flooring revealed black mold too. My wife has cancer and this would have killed her. The dealer won't do anything about it.. The "AS IS" clause they say. They ruined our summer. I even offered to buy a more expensive camper from them if they would take the defective one back and give me what we paid for it as a trade. They wanted to screw me over again offering half of what I paid. It appears they have no conscience and their God is money.

Bought a jayco eagle 330 in January and have been calling to get get them to take care of the punch list they asked me to write. I’ve gotten the run around for the last 6 months and no returned calls. The day I picked up the RV there was a big dent in the frig door that I was told a new one had been ordered because it got damaged in shipping as well as scratches on the counter tops. They said it was going to take 3 weeks, a month later I called and was told it hadn’t been ordered. Plus I bought slide covers and paid for them same thing was told 3 weeks they weren’t ordered either. I’ve called and called when they do answer I get put on hold and no one returns to the call or I’m told someone will get back to you. NO ONE HAS. I went to the Valdosta store because they were all about customer service they bragged how they were #1in customer service if that’s how you treat your customers then you need to reevaluate your philosophies. I’m still trying to get this taken care of Next time I’ll take my business elsewhere.

what a bunch of deceptive people. Kelly Roth, her boss Kevin and the sales manager tried to pull a bait and switch. Agreed to $74500 price out the door, I gave a deposit, a few days later they said the price didn't include 8% sales tax and new price was $80,200 STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH Other offices , Roanoke, etc are fine. When other branches quoted me RV pricing they sent through actual written quotes.This branch said they would follow up with written quote but never did. I have call into corporate camping world, waiting to see if they will help me locate a travato at promised price. I thought salesman in automotive industry were bad these people make them look like saints

Jack, Just purchased a 2012 Newmar 3920 toy hauler. What a disaster.

Unit was winterized and they left both grey/black tanks 2/3 full of somebody's *** water . Paid for platinum package with paint protection. Never washed or detailed the unit prior to application. Bin doors without shocks.

Driver / passenger window seals bad. Couldnt see out of the windows to see the mirrors. They did install new tires, but no alignment. Steering wheel at 3'oclock while driving.

Returned it and promised it would be back that night. No word. Had a couple cocktails and had an uber bring me there just to see if it was moved. Nope still in the same spot, doors unlocked, keys where I left them and my 30k Harley sitting in the back.

200$ in uber and went back with pillow and blanket and fired it up. Slept and waited till morning. Non the less I was escorted off the property cause of a slight altercation between me and mike m.. They called said it was done and would call the next day for another walk through.

Never called. I went to look at it on my own at 5 a.m. found unlocked with my bike still in the back and dirt all over after they said they re-applied the paint protection. Windows not done and more.

Here it is sunday no unit no bike. Waiting to travel with my family to CALIFORNIA for work restoring power after the firestorms. My current mission is to turn this 100k coach into a 100k billboard and spend the next month traveling down Rt66 tell everyone not to buy from them. I'm gunna install monitors in my vehicle I'm towing playing all the videos of everything.

I'm going to start viral videos and set up YouTube. They F****d with the wrong guy this time . Contacted a lawyer. Looking into a class action suit.

Marcus doesnt respond. His facebook page is just loaded with his vacation pics. Does campingworld sponsor nascar still. Plan on parking out front with a megaphone.

These people will pay. Kelly Roth also sold mine. I didnt even pay attention as much as I should of.

Put 20k cash down. Wonder how screwed I'm gunna b

Absolutely the worst experience. Parts department doesn't return any phone calls. They are rude. We ordered a part 3 weeks ago and I can not get anyone to call me back to tell me where this part is. The camper we purchased has been nothing but repairs.

Recent experience with Camping World in Grand Rapids MI

This is the message I just sent Camping World. Decided to write and let you know my recent experience with CW in Grand Rapids MI. Brought my 5th wheel in for a slider adjust in late April. Decided to order an awning rafter in the store and have it installed at the same time. CW said 2-3 days for that to arrive, would be about 5 days before I could pick up my camper. After hearing nothing I call back after 10 days, service dept says they are done with their end of it (slider adjust) and haven't heard a thing from the store about the rafter support. I call back to talk to the store, no one answers the phone when transferred. I keep calling in as instructed by the receptionist, she says someone will answer eventually. On about the 6th or 7th call I ask for a manager (getting irritated now) She puts me on hold, then says she'll take my info and have them call me back. They Never do. The next day I call early, after some searching on CW's part they realize my part came in without hardware over a week prior and now will have to have the hardware shipped overnight from the factory because I'm about to call the whole thing off and pick up my camper for a pre season trip. I pick it after 13 days...ridiculous that no one did anything when item came in without hardware until I called. So I'm happy to have it done with 2-3 days to get it ready to use it. That is until I get it home and see the damage inside. Apparently the tractor lot driver has no respect for someone else's property and whips these units around so recklessly that my cupboards opened, some dishes fell out and broke, gouging my countertop as it smashed on it. fishing poles flew off the top from behind a 2" lip above the cabinets, chairs and table slid across the camper out of their rubber pads (a 1st). This would NEVER happen with normal driving, never has in all the miles I driven at speeds up to 75 mph. Now that I'm home I've decided it was time to share this and write a few reviews. I've replaced one small casserole dish at a cost of $30, the counter top was pristine and now isn't thanks to the recklessness of your lot driver. My chairs will have to be glued down to the rubber pads again. And I'm not so sure my slider adjust was done correctly since I'm now seeing marks appear on the flooring inside. Not happy that CW would allow a lot driver to joy ride while towing someone else expensive property around. Total disrespect for the customer's property!

As an update to my above review, Camping World was also suppose to fix my oven. It worked when we bought the camper but I only use it once maybe twice a season so it was not lighting for me.

When I picked up the camper the service guy took a considerable amount of time telling what they did with the oven. Wouldn't light for them, cleaned it and it lit but went out right away. They cleaned it again, it lit easier this time, they let it runs for 15-20 minutes, and then cleaned it again. With all the *** going on with my slide the oven was the least of my worries at the time so I never checked it when I got the camper back after 3 weeks (leaving 2-3 days before using it).

Needed to use it for a pot luck dish in Sept...it wouldn't light. Go Figure!

Husband says it probably needs a thermcouple. We'll check into it in the spring or bring it to General RV in Wayland.

UPDATEBrought the camper back to Camping World in Grand Rapids on June 7 so they could redo the slider adjust. The service manager Doug worked on it until it was working much better.

Doesn't appear to be dragging on the floor inside anymore. They also gave me 2 thin strips of plastic to set under the edge where it was dragging when moving the slider in, this will buffer the floor enough to keep it from damaging the floor again. Was pleasantly surprised they were able to get most of the marks off the floor with mineral spirits (I had tried other cleaners without success). I was also reimbursed for the dishes that broke.

Time spent there was 2 hours with about 50 minute drive each way. They did what they could to fix the issues.

Camping World - DO NOT GO HERE!

I've never experienced such rude employees. All around terrible. Avoid at all costs! We went back ready to buy after receiving no help during our first visit. Upon wanting to purchase an RV, the finance manager didn't offer any explanation about added fees or pricing structure. He basically said "get out". They need to fire the jerk who handles financing.. the other jock who helped us was high as a kite. Completely strange place, I'm unsure how they stay afloat. At least explain your pricing structure to customers and entertain them.. they are the CUSTOMER.. THERE IS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE.. ALL AROUND.. FROM THE DITZY RECEPTIONIST who simply said, yeah go look around someone will find you.. ummm no.. we are looking to throw down $100K, we'd like someone available to answer questions... HORRIBLE!

Worse customer service. Do not purchase any trailer from there. They don’t help u when you have problems they don’t follow through they don’t call back. It’s disgusting how they treat customers they lie. Change their stories we bought four trailers from there and they don’t seem to care we will never go back. Microwave in our brand new Montana does not work and they will not help us or call us back. They r terrible When we purchased this Montana there was an upcoming show. We told them we didn’t want it at show well they took it to show we never ever have a pleasant experience at camping world. We run a business we know how to treat customers. How they r still open is beyond me they can’t even keep the same employees. Constantly different workers
